Ok, for those of you who have never dealt with the National Visa Center... keep your fingers crossed that you never have to. The answer to every problem is to call back in 24 hours. It is the most frustrating thing ever.
We will officially engage Sherrod Brown's office today. Hopefully they will get this resolved. It seems so simple to me!

I am hoping that Betsy gave you our contact at the NVC. We were just dealing with this exact issue, finally our fingerprint amendment has been received by the Consulate.
