We hope that our wait won't be much longer. There is really no way to know though. We got our last package from CCAI yesterday prior to Travel Approval. I hope that this means we will be getting our Letter of Approval soon. Now that the shower is over and we have another set of pictures of Bai Hua, it can't come too soon. For the first time since we started this, I have serious "ants in my pants". I am as anxious as kid wanting ice cream. Many of the fears are washing away and being replaced with thoughts giving Bai Hua a big hug and just loving her.
Kennedy has started the competitive thing already. She has started asking me who has the best clothes? Her or Bai Hua? I assure her that they are equally nice and that they are different but wonderful. I suspect this will be a theme for quite some time. How do you help a kid get past the "Win/Lose" mentality? I suppose that this is something that many adults struggle with so we may never resolve it completely. I hope though that it does get better. With family and friends we are all winners!
One more thing... I can't wait to see Bai Hua in something other than that yellow sweater! She deserves of lots of pink (her favorite color).

The bedroom is very cute. Did the pink chair work? We can't wait to get Bai Hua home so she can meet her Grandma Sylvia and Grandpa John!
Tracy, Chris, and Kennedy. I told Carsyn all about Kennedy getting a big sister. When I showed Ellise's photo to Carsyn, she said, "Wow! She's big! And Pretty! I think she thought I was going to be showing her a toddler or something. I sure how you get to go in April to get her. I definitely want to see her in May so I hope you're coming to the reunion! PS: Great photo of Matilda! Fondly, Elisabeth
